But I also returned to college at Wright State to finish my art degree. I s...Expand for more
pend my days doing computer graphics or designing patterns for crochet, or doing office assisting (which is a bore but it's for my husband so what can I say). For fun, I work as a costumer/dresser/stitcher for local theater groups, both amature and professional. It is a blast. I am a member of The Theatrical Wardrobe Union. As of '04 I have returned to college once again. This time I am working toward my masters in Theatrical Costume. I enjoy it very much. I am also an advid crocheter, and I am a member of the local crochet guild. I check my e-mail at least once a week. I would love to hear from everyone.

I now interrupt your distressing news feed to bring you a thing of beauty.
The idea is to occupy Facebook with art, breaking up all the political posts. Whoever likes this post will be given an artist (I'll do my best), and
Finished the Shinning Star Cowl. Pattern on Ravelry by Julie Isberg. I am getting better at this two stick yearning. This is only my third completed knit project.
Surry went great. Knee in continuous motion machine and iceman cold pack. Did first rehab exercises today and all is well. Pain not to bad and I go tomorrow. So happy.
Looking pretty good. PT gave permission to use came instead of walker in the house as long as I am not medication woozy. Can bend 80 degrees. Standing still is the pits. Very painful still. But getting there.
bent not broke but still painful

How it looks day 4. It feels just about like it looks.
A care package arrived in the mail this morning. Thank you Cindy Closser for the "Tackling one dad at a time" tools.
Made this little bun cover a couple days ago. No pattern, designed on the hook. My favorite way. Unblocked about 5" diameter, made with repurposed thread from charity shop
Went to youngest sons new house and walked upstairs to get the whole tour. Made it up and down then sat with my knee up for a long long time. Beautiful home.
Chopped off my hair last night...I like it.
After three decades, I picked up my brushes to do a painting for my youngest son. It could be improved upon. But as a step back into painting I am pleased with it. The subjects are his babies.
I can finally share one of the projects I submitted. 'Keep the Pup Warm Hooded Sweater' available in Warm & Cozy Crochet from Crochet! Magazine. I got my copies in the mail today so it should be available at Annie's Attic.
My very first knitted pattern- I am still learning so be patient.
This is for a scarf

Happy Birthday to my oldest baby boy William Stewart. As today IS throwback Thursday I think I will add a pic of him a while ago. Love you so much Billy and I am so proud of the man you have become. Happy Birthday!
Came across this pic on my phone. My wonderful sister Madelon Elizabeth Hamblin. So grateful to have had her as my big sister. Will miss her for ever.
